The application should start automatically after installation is finished
First time usage and settings
Open A-GPS Beta application, if not running already. Set a reference location by pointing your rough location on the map. A red dot will indicate this. You need set the reference location at the first time you use A-GPS and everytime you have moved a long distance (>300 kilometers / 185 miles) from your previous reference location.
Now, whenever your Internet Tablet gets a GPS fix your reference location will be automatically updated accordingly.
The default settings are typically OK as such but you can configure the application under Settings menu in top left corner. Select the 'Allow PacketData' for the A-GPS to automatically open cellular Internet Connection over Bluetooth whenever GPS is used. If you use this option also set your preferred connection from the pull down menu. This makes it more convenient to use the A-GPS for example in your car.
Note: Internet connection through your cellular phone may include charges from your cellular operator. In order to use this you need to have your phone paired with your Internet Tablet. You can do this pairing from Control Panel -> Phone.
Normal usage of A-GPS
In everyday usage you do not need to do anything special. The A-GPS will automatically work in the background whenever GPS is used. For example you can open the Map application and the A-GPS will be started to background automatically.
If you move long distance (>300km / 185 miles ) from your previous reference location, you need to start the A-GPS application and set your new reference location manually.
