Supporting people with disabilities
MISSION HANDICAP supports employees of Nokia France with disabilities. To maximize the benefit of our work, our activities focus on pragmatic aspects of work; hiring procedures, equipment adaption at work and tool or facility accessibility. In addition, we work closely with HR recruiters and colleagues and participate in manager training to create a more inclusive work environment. We also promote digital accessibility sensitization and hold awareness sessions for all employees.
Our goal is to give all members of our community a voice and equal opportunity when it comes to realizing their full potential. Our employee resource group covers all main sites in France.
Association @talentEgal was founded in 2010 to address the challenges of students with disabilities to finalize their studies and find employment. @talentEgal supports students with disabilities all the way from high school to graduating from college to successful completion of a trial period at their very first job. Based on personalized support, our goal is to best prepare students with disabilities for the world of work, so that a disability will no longer be a barrier to graduates looking to start their careers. @talentEgal works today with 8 different partner schools and 4 companies – Nokia (former Alcatel-Lucent) being one of the founding members of the association.
