Harnessing unique skills
VALOR-USA supports U.S. military veterans and those currently serving. Our mission is three-fold:
- To leverage the contributions of veterans to make Nokia a best-in-class company by utilizing the unique skills, expertise, knowledge, training, and leadership acquired during their vast experience.
- To remove stereotypes and negative perceptions of veterans in the workplace thereby creating a work environment where all employees can thrive and contribute to the success of the company.
- To provide a support network for veterans, their families and friends.

What we aim to achieve
VALOR-USA strives to create an inclusive and safe environment where veterans are able to work to their full potential, contributing to the overall success of our company. We act as a resource for our group members, as well as for Nokia employees and management regarding issues important to veterans and active reserve. Communication, networking, and information sharing are encouraged among veterans at Nokia. We partner with other employee resource groups on corporate-wide activities.
Membership is open to all company employees as well as contractors that support our mission and goals. Veterans, active reserve, and non-veterans are all encouraged to join VALOR-USA.
