Tech4schools - school visit
Recently we had the pleasure of hosting the 2nd Lyceum of Pallini in Areva premises. Students had the opportunity to listen about the Evolution of Telecommunications, the Internet of Things, Sensors and discuss ways to better use them in our daily lives.
Pride Month celebrations
Displaying the rainbow flag, we honor the LGBTQ+ community, recognizing resilience and amplifying voices. It's more than a celebration; it's a commitment to an inclusive workplace where everyone feels safe, valued, and empowered.
Blood donation
Despite challenging weather conditions and heavy traffic in Athens, 75 individuals participated in our 2nd Blood donation event of 2023. Remarkably, 69 units of blood were collected, contributing to the Nokia Hellas Blood Bank, and potentially saving up to 207 lives.
ROBOT-fun
Nokia Hellas' ROBOT-fun initiative is back post-COVID. A successful 5-month cycle of Junior Team Robotics lessons has been completed at Areva. With 6 coaches, 21 enthusiastic kids, and parents involved, the program featured 18 fun sessions, 2 closing parties, and lots of smiles. Kids loved it, and we'll check back in September for more ROBOT-fun updates.
