At Nokia, we are committed to nurturing a gender-equal environment, a culture free of biases, stereotypes and discrimination. Each year, International Women's Day becomes an occasion for us to inspire collaborative change and demonstrate accountability in fostering an inclusive future for women.

This year’s celebration is all about a call to take bold leaps towards breaking barriers and challenging prejudices. As part of our commitment, we are excited to announce the Student Hackathon 'Accelerate Her in Tech' designed to Accelerate Action for gender equality in technology, particularly among students.

This multi-phased student Hackathon themed around networking and software, aims to inspire innovation by empowering students to enhance their coding skills. It’s an opportunity for students of all genders to demonstrate their potential while supporting the advancement of women in technology.

Who can sign up?

This initiative is specially designed for female and male students at colleges that Nokia considers for hiring and engagement.


Eligibility Criteria:

  1. B.Tech, MCA, or M.Tech students from CS, IT, ECE, and related branches
  2. Graduation year: 2026
  3. Minimum 65% marks in the highest education
  4. No active backlogs

Key dates in the journey ahead

  • Registration Begins - February 26th
  • Round 1: D-Code - March 8th
  • Round 2: Code Hunt - March 21st to 23rd
  • Event Finale –  Last week of April*
