Supporting local communities

Sports4Kids

Sports4Kids - Minigolf

On a sunny day in July, our Nokia volunteers, in Aveiro and Lisbon, partnered with two of our local NGO’s and brought a few children along for a minigolf activity.

It was a great moment to unwind and give the children an opportunity to have fun and practice a sport they hadn't had the chance to experience before.

Nokia Santa - Christmas Solidarity Event

Nokia Santa - Christmas Solidarity Event

Along with our Nokia Broad Band, we celebrated Christmas by hosting our “Christmas Raffles” and “Nokia Santa” campaigns, with a party in the auditorium, inviting children from our partner NGOs.

Not only did we manage to gather 146 presents for children in 8 different institutions, but we were also able to provide various meals for 2 social care institutions in Lisbon and Aveiro.

Meals prep event

Meals prep for families in need

Twenty-five Nokia volunteers went out to deliver meals to individuals in a housing crisis and support meal prep for families in need, both in Lisbon and Aveiro.

This small action is a life-changing solidarity event, and we are happy that our colleagues felt how rewarding it is to make such a difference.

Cultivating Tomorrow

Cultivating Tomorrow

In the amazing company of our tiny helpers and volunteers, we contributed to the renewal of the children's associations' gardens, at Vera Cruz (Aveiro) and Centro Sagrada Família (Lisbon).

It was a fun-filled morning cleaning the green spaces, planting 3 fruit trees and creating 4 plant beds for the children to see the fruit and vegetables growing.
