IEEE 5G++ Summit Dresden has become a well-known annual high-impact event that brings together industry leaders, innovators, and researchers from industry and academia to exchange ideas that will help to drive standards and rapid deployment of 5G++ technologies.
Over the past 5 years, the event has been held with 4 physical events at Dresden Congress Center. This year, the event is virtual from May 4, 2021 to May 6. The virtual exhibition on May 4 and May 6 can be visited free of charge. The virtual conference sessions take place on May 5.
5G is the first mobile network release designed specifically with industry needs in mind. Its ultra-low latency, consistent availability and high data-transmission rates make possible a whole range of industrial use cases that were simply out of reach with earlier technologies. Nokia’s booth is presenting 5G and 5G++ as the key enables for the Industry 4.0 offering new experience, increased efficiency, and productivity. The demos will feature positioning, time sensitive networks, private 5G at the factory floor and will give insights on network flexibility offered by the Open RAN with the Nokia Service Enablement Platform.
