Berlin 6G Conference

It is a pleasure for Nokia to participate in this years’ edition of the Berlin 6G Conference which is organized by the 6G Platform in Germany.

The goal of the 6G Platform project „Platform for Future Communication Technologies and 6G “ is to not only make scientific contributions to the content design of 6G but also to ensure the scientific-organizational support of the processes that are necessary for the successful implementation of the German-European 6G programs. This is one of the most important initiatives for the research on future 6G technologies under the patronage of the Federal Ministry for Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, BMBF). At this year’s conference more than 600 invited participants out of research, industry and politics have the chance to learn on German 6G projects and their initial results.

Nokia will represent and showcase five industry projects, leading three, including the lighthouse project 6G-ANNA. 

On the 6G-ANNA booth visitors will be able to experience three demonstrators including a Mobility Metaverse Demo created jointly with partners from Bosch and Nokia. 

Furthermore, Nokia’s research and standardization experts will take floor in keynotes like Peter Merz, Mikko A. Uusitalo and Colin Willcock.

Another part of the conference is the 2nd Germany Japan Beyond 5G/6G Research Workshop where also the Federal Minister of Education and Research (BMBF), Mrs. Stark-Watzinger will join. Nokia will be a part of the delegation too.

In agenda there are several partner executives’ keynotes and the Minister’s presentation as the funded program body.
