Business Design Centre - London, United Kingdom

Connected Britain is the UK’s most important connectivity event, bringing together the leaders shaping Britain’s digital future. Connected Britain 2022 will explore how next-generation broadband technologies, especially fibre and 5G, are enabling exciting new opportunities for industry verticals, businesses, communities, and individuals.

As part of Nokia’s presence at Connected Britain, we will be hosting a roundtable titled, “How to leverage broadband to unleash the development of your city”, on Tuesday, September 20 from 12:05-12:45PM. While solving the digital divide and addressing digital inclusion remains essential for many local authorities, they also must think beyond this and plan the digital development, at scale, of their public services to continue improving their quality and productivity. Gathering city leaders as well as technology, engineering and financial experts from the UK ecosystem, this roundtable will explore how cities can undertake both the deployment of their broadband infrastructure and the digitalization of their public services across the entire territory they manage.

Our roundtable of experts includes the following

  • Rhys Enfield, West Midlands 5G
  • Adrian Hale, Head of Digital, Bournemouth BCP
  • Oliver Hart, Account Director, Jacob
  • Brian Matthews, Head of Digital, Milton Keynes
  • Patrick Melia, CEO, Sunderland
  • Julie Snell, Deputy Chair, Scotland 5G
  • Antony Tomlinson, CEO, Ontix

    ...and more to come!
