• Hear from our industry experts in our theater where we will feature live 5G/FRMCS demos showcasing the power of 5G for mainline, metro and yards via use cases including: emergency call, high bandwidth connectivity, and MC-PTT and MC-data for mainline, train to ground communication for metro, and yard maintenance with AR.
• Explore our demos in more detail in key focus areas including:  
  • Mainline rail evolution to FRMCS. A key enabler of rail digitalization, this demo will cover the importance and benefits of FRMCS, migration strategy, and Nokia experience to help railways start planning now for a smooth migration to FRMCS. ​​​​​
  • Metro rail communications infrastructure. This demo showcases Nokia’s comprehensive solutions from wireless train-to-ground to IP/MPLS converged backbone for deployments trackside, in station and extending into the data center, enabling reliable and scalable connectivity. We will also exhibit Nokia’s latest industrial Ethernet switching platform, 7210 SAS-Dxp, with high-power and high PoE/HPoE fan-out support optimized for digital station networking.
  • Securing communications networks. This demo discusses the various cyber security threats and illustrates the latest advancements such as security automation, analytics, and response in protecting the networks.
  • Automation in rail yards and depots. This demo illustrates how automation can enhance safety, operational efficiency, and situational awareness.
