IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition will bring together core water groups, such as those focused on urban water and urban water services, as well as participants from industry, architects and urban planners, soil and groundwater experts and hydrologists, social scientists, the ICT sector and others. This will provide a vital opportunity to learn about water challenges and solutions, and participate in technical site visits.
In 2021, Finland was ranked first in the Sustainable Development Index comparing 193 UN Member States on 17 Sustainable Development Goals. One of Finland’s key strengths is the Finnish Water Way – a multi-stakeholder approach towards sustainable water management and making use of cutting-edge technologies.
Nokia will be present in the Finland pavilion to showcase our smart water management capabilities which are part of the leading practices of the Finnish Water Way of sustainable water management.

Smart Water Management R&D project (SWIM) aims to develop and test an open, flexible and standards-based digital platform that addresses global water utility challenges. Learn about this partner consortium's work in the innovative WaterLAB and demonstrator SuperDMA in Kuopio, Finland - key learnings, next steps and how this empowers digital transformation.
