Nokia as an industry expert will discuss the Mobile broadband opportunities in Africa focusing on affordability and spectrum related topic and the potentials of building up mobile broadband connectivity in Africa. The talk will focus on MBB deployment in key bands in Sub-Sahara region, discussing the necessary next steps and investments needed for setting the scene for future 4G/5G deployments.

Nokia will participate in the virtual exhibition. Our booth will showcase the theme: connect the unconnected in Africa - delivering connectivity to unconnected communities, schools and homes. Nokia has partnered with UNICEF in Kenya to extend coverage to schools enabling digital learning and increased equitable access to digital literacy for some of the most disadvantaged children in Kenya. This includes girls and children with disabilities in urban informal settlements and some of the most remote areas of Kenya. Furthermore, we will highlight the Nokia's heritage and profound experience in establishing connectivity within decades in Africa over all telecommunications technology generations.
