Despite the potential, communication service providers (CSPs) have yet to deploy distributed data platforms in real-world scenarios. Historically, CSPs have focused on building large data lakes as a single source of truth. However, these large data lakes present their own challenges. This paper explores how a distributed data platform can address these challenges and provides a conceptual approach for deploying such a platform in a CSP’s environment.
