100 Gb/s Discrete-Multitone Transmission over 80 km using Single-Sideband Modulation with Novel Nonlinearity Compensation Scheme

We present a novel nonlinearity compensation scheme to suppress signal-signal beat interference in direct-detection systems with single-sideband modulation. We use this scheme to successfully transmit 80Gb/s SSB-DMT over 80km SSMF.
