112-Gb/s PAM-4 Optical Transmitter Module based on High Speed InP EAM

A 112-Gb/s PAM4 transmitter module which integrates InP DFB and EAM demonstrated for the first time 2 km transmission with only 3-taps equalizer due to a large bandwidth of 50 GHz, >13 dB extinction ratio and 1.5 mW output power.
