2000 km DWDM Transmission of 85.2 Gbit/s DQPSK Data with 100 GHz Channel Spacing over Non-Zero Dispersion Shifted Fiber

We demonstrate WDM transmission of 85.2 Gbit/s DQPSK signals with 100 GHz channel spacing in a recirculating loop with 5ÃÂ100 km NZDSF spans and hybrid Raman/EDFA amplification. Bit error rates below 1÷10-3 are obtained after 2000 km transmission.
