20Gbit/s OOK Upstream with Direct Modulated Laser over up to 50.8 km Single Mode Fiber

We report long-reach measurements at 20Gbit/s in cw and burst-mode with DML. The method of DST was used to transmit beyond the traditional dispersion limit. A 32.2 dB budget was achieved in BtB and 31.1dB at 38.1km
