50 Gbps TDM-PON using Neural Network Enabled Rx Equalization Specialized for PON

Investigation of neural networks as Rx equalizer for 50 Gbps IM/DD TDM-PON. The NN is optimized specifically for PON with respect to differential reach and wavelength variations between ONUs. Care has been taken to avoid over-estimation of performance due to overfitting.
