5ESS Switch OSPS International Directory Inquiry

This paper present an overview of the 5ESS Switch Operator Services Position System Directory Inquiry (OSPS-DI) architecture and gives a brief account of the features and capabilities of the system. The OSPS-DI system provides sophisticated operator features for the provision of directory services. Its features include switching a caller to an operator position via an automatic call distributor, displaying the call information on the operator console, interposition communication and call transfer, operator access to network from the operator console, and automatic collection and reporting of performance and traffic data.
