5x510 Gbps Single-Polarization Direct-Detection WDM Transmission over 80 km of SSMF

We demonstrate 5-channel WDM DD transmissions at 1550 nm over 80 km of SSMF with a record data rate per channel of 510 Gbps. Each channel was detected by a single photodiode with either Kramers-Kronig detection or a low-complexity interference cancellation scheme
