7-a2 rotary automatic telephone system
14 April 1933
This is the first part of a description of the re-designed rotary automatic telephone system and covers the new apparatus and equipment. Re-designed line-finder, selector and sequence switches have been produced, the tendency being in all cases to more robust and simplified construction, while a saving in space has also been effected. The new type of switchboard wire used possesses improved fire-resisting properties, and radical changes in fusing and power distribution assist in ease of maintenance, which is a feature of the equipment.
