We report pseudo-linear transmission of single-channel 80-Gb/s signal over 1200 km of non-zero dispersion fiber with 100-km amplifier spacing. The result is achieved by using distributed Raman amplification, an optimized dispersion map, and low polarization-mode dispersion (PMD) tansmission fiber. The experiment was performed using a 400-km recirculating loop.
