After the A|RT-Library and A|RT-Builder, two very useful tools for designing hardware structures using ANSI-C constructs, Frontier Design now offers with their new product A|RT-Designer a tool that allows architectural exploration on a C-level. Again, the description is C-based using the same notation as before for A|RT-Library and A|RT-Builder, A|RT-Designer allows to define single hardware modules for specific tasks and build a complete Finite State Machine (FSM) around the specified C program.
