A digital ecosystem for smart energy - Into a specification-driven data streaming world

These slides, to an invited panel talk at EPIA'17, introduce a horizontal streaming service platform approach based on Bell Labs World Wide Streams, extended with a service specification compiler and world model concept. As per the topic of the session where this is to be presented, the talk applies this technology to emerging scenarios in energy smart grids, as being demonstrated in the M2MGrids project.
