A Field-Induced Charged-Device Model Simulator

We have developed a Charged-Device Model (CDM) simulator that applies a high voltage to the test device using the field of a non-contacting electrode. It discharges by direct contact with a low-inductance microwave bandwidth waveform monitor. The simulator can rapidly apply discharges of both polarities using a single high-voltage supply.
