A Flexible High Voltage Integrated Bridge Driver

A high voltage integrated circuit capable of driving a half- bridge of two n-channel DMOSFETS is described. This device accepts logic-level inputs and provides in excess of 2 amperes of gate drive level shifted up to 450 volts. The device is packaged in a 14 pin DIP and requires only two external components, a high-voltage diode and a capacitor, for operation.
