A Frame-Synchronous Level Building Algorithm for Connected Word Recognition

In this paper, a frame-synchronous level building (FSLB) algorithm is proposed for recognizing connected sequences of words. The algorithm is essentially a frame-synchronous implementation of the conventional level building (LB) algorithm and therefore the FSLB algorithm yields exactly the same numerical results as the LB algorithm.
