The thermolysis and acidolysis of three polymers, poly(4-t- butyloxycarbonyloxy-alpha-methylstyrene)[poly(t-BOC-alpha- methylstyrene)], poly(4-t-butyloxycarbonyloxystyrene) [poly(t-BOC- styrene], and poly(4-t-butyloxycarbonyloxystyrene-sulfone) [poly (t-BOC-styrene-sulfone)], were studied by gas chromatography/mass spectroscopy (GC/MS).
