A low complexity frequency shifting mmWave-repeater for enhanced coverage in 5G fixed wireless access scenarios

New concept for high coverage in fixed wireless broadband access systems based on a mmWave beam steering repeater. Knowing about the cost pressure in the access segment of the network our system has been designed for high energy efficiency and lowest cost implementation. Consequently, we avoided any base band signal processing for TDD switching or beam switching control.
