As telecommunications services evolve, private networks will remain an attractive means for providing services for many customers. Private networks are those where a single customer has exclusive use of the facilities (including the "private lines") or the portions of those facilities that provide the service. Savings in telecommunications costs and internal control over network operations will continue to be major driving factors for customers to seek private network solutions to their telecommunications needs.
