A Note on the Reversibility and Duality of Some Tandem Blocking Queueing Systems

In a previous paper Yamazaki et al. (1983) prove that a certain tendem blocking queueing system and its reversed counterpart have the same capacity (throughput). The purpose of this not is to offer an alternative viewpoint based on a concept of duality. This leads to a more intuitive methodology and provides additional insight into the original and reversed systems.
