A Phase Locked Loop Analog System for Real-Time Phase Retrieval

An analog system capable of retrieving the phase information from an interference pattern in real-time is described and some experimental results presented. The system consits primarily of a self-scanned, two-dimensional photodiode array, a phase locked loop and an integrator.
