A Prototype Performance Engineering/Management Tool for UNIX (TM) Based Systems

In this paper we present a prototype Performance Engineering/Management Tool (PET) for UNIX1 based systems. PET provides an easy to use interface for accessing various workload and performance measurements on UNIX systems and allows the user to monitor and analyze system performance.
