A Pulse Method for Measuring the Minimum Shielding Effectiveness of Enclosures
19 August 2002
This paper reports a pulse technique for measuring the Shielding Effectiveness (SE) of enclosures, without the use of an anechoic chamber or an open area test site (OATS). Experimental results are presented and compared to those of the conventional frequency domain method using an anechoic chamber. The pulse method is demonstrated to be a practical means of measuring enclosure SE, which offers an independent means of cross-checking results from other measurement schemes.
