A Queueing Network Model for Manufacturing

A generic queueing network to estimate the work in process inventories, production intervals and product yields will be discussed. For a multiproduct system it accounts for variabilities in input rates and production times, machine interruptions, probabilistic transitions within a framework of deterministic routing, process yields and batch service.
