A Review of Front Propagation into Unstable States

Recently, front propagation into unstable states has been under active study both experimentally[1] as well as theoretically.[2,3] After describing some of the experiments, I will discuss a theoretical formulation[4] of the marginal stability theory for this type of front propagation, that extends earlier work by Dee et al.[2]
