A Speech-Adaptive Vocal Cord/Vocal Tract Model

We are exploring the use of physiological models of the glottis and vocal/nasal tract for speech coding purposes. The control parameters of such models are good candidates for speech coding because they vary slowly in time. The difficult problem, however, is the estimation of these parameters from input speech.
