Access Services and Private Line Restoration Using Microwave Radio Facilities (NOT PUBLISHED)

Traditionally, AT&T has used digital microwave radio in long-haul applications. However, digital radio also has short-haul applications in access services, customer premise communications, and restoration scenarios. AT&T currently markets four different types of digital radio systems for these purposes; AT&T DR18W, DR23W, DR18M, and DR23N. Operating in the 18 and 23 GHz ranges, these radio systems provide high quality communications links with capacities ranging from 1.544 Mb/s to 45 Mb/s.
