Special telephones and telephone accessories, TDD's (telecommunication devices for deaf people) and electronic mail can help people with disabilities communicate with their co-workers. 

Personal computers and workstations, together with commercially available adaptive devices, can help people with disabilities access and process information. Thus, modern technology, when properly applied, can overcome a number of obstacles facing people with disabilities working in an office environment.
