Accommodating People with Disabilities in Today's Office Environment

Special telephones and telephone accessories, TDD's (telecommunication devices for deaf people) and electronic mail can help people with disabilities communicate with their co-workers. Personal computers and workstations, together with commercially available adaptive devices, can help people with disabilities access and process information. Thus, modern technology, when properly applied, can overcome a number of obstacles facing people with disabilities working in an office environment.
