Achievable Information Rate of Nonlinear Inverse Synthesis Based 16QAM OFDM Transmission

This is my ECOC submission, which was performed at Aston University during my PhD. We experimentally investigate, for the first time, the achievable information rate of the nonlinear inverse synthesis system with 16QAM OFDM format employing hard and soft FEC, showing that 3 bits/symbol can be achieved over a distance of 1632 km
