Acoustic Modeling for Large Vocabulary Speech Recognition

One of the key issues in designing a large vocabulary speech recognition system is the acoustic modeling of the fundamental units for recognition. In this paper, we focus our attention on the issues related to the acoustic modeling of both context independent (CI) and context dependent (CD) fundamental units.
