Adaptive Postfiltering of 16 Kb/s - ADPCM Speech

This paper proposes an algorithm which adapts the degree of postfiltering to the local performance of the 16Kb/s coder. The adaptation is based on current values of the predictor coefficient and quantizer step size, and it requires no extra information to be sent from the transmitter.
