Adhesive Bonding as an Alternate to Brazing for Light Metal Assemblies

Both technical feasibility and cost effectiveness have been demonstrated by adhesive bonding of light metal assemblies in a number of important industries. This talk will discuss typical thermal and mechanical performance properties of bonded structures, typical characteristics of various adhesive materials and processing requirements necessary for optimum performance.
