ADVISE Environment Enhancements to the Tuxedo User Interface

The ADVISE Environment allows developers to build systems of forms and menus for interacting with a TUXEDO database. The ADVISE user interface is an enhanced version of the TUXEDO user interface. The functionality of the User Executive (UEX), based on mio, was expanded by adding support for pick and select fields, text regions, scroll regions, and field formatting. A visual editor (AVED), based on vuform, was developed for creating forms and menus that support the enhanced features of UEX.
