The control equipment has a capacity of 60 stations and 3 alarm groups, a separate alarm circuit being provided for each of 3 watchmen. Both visible and audible alarms are given, should a watchman be late at any point of his round. A time register is also provided for each point and is operated by the watchman's key. Special alarms are provided for fire, for the cashier and also for the strong-room. The latter utilizes a delicately poised pendulum resting on a 3-point contact. Slight vibrations of the strongroom doors cause the pendulums to respond, and alter the circuit conditions, resulting in audible and visible alarms being given, while interference with the conductor systems also gives an alarm.
