All Optical Passive Stabilization of a Two-Section InAs/InP Based Quantum-Dash Mode-Locked Laser with Simultaneous CW Injection-Locking and Selective Optical Feedback

We present a novel stabilization technique utilizing CW injection-locking and selective optical feedback for a 1.56 µm quantum-dash mode-locked laser. 46 kHz RF linewidth ( 50 times reduction) and 7.4 ps reduced chirp pulses are observed. ©2012 Optical Society of America OCIS Codes: (140.3520) Lasers, injection-locked; (140.4050) Mode-locked lasers
