An Analysis of Subset Regression for Orthogonal Designs

In this article the difficulty of guarding against false rejection of the null hypothesis in subset regression is illustrated by the analysis of othogonal array experimental designs. In this case, the variance ratio can be interpreted in terms of order statistics, and the resulting bias is intuitively apparent.
