An Engineer's View of the MBA Perspective

New Image

A Master of Business Administration degree can give an engineer the additional management perspective and background diversity needed to understand the business implications of technical decisions. With an MBA education, an engineer can see the multiple sides of a problem: technical, marketing, and financial. An engineer knows technology and how to transfer that technology into the design of a product or service. An MBA knows finance, marketing, and business operation and how to transfer that knowledge into a profitable business. The synergy of these two backgrounds can give an engineer a multifaceted viewpoint of a commercial enterprise.
