An Example of The Use of Graphics in Regression

Good data sets are hard to come by, especially for presenting new material in the classroom. We present an analysisof a dataset appearing in a recent regression text. n analysis of a dataset appearing in a recent regression text. Our interest in this dataset arose in preparing regression tutorials and short courses over the past two years. It allowed us to introduce economically a number of graphical techniques into the course and to illustrate their usage.
